I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This is a sponsored post from a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and Bigelow tea #TrendTea.
As you may already know, I am a huge tea fanatic.
I drink it every day, multiple times per day.
It’s my love and I don’t try to hide it. I love green tea, white tea, or rooibos, or any kind of tea (except Black, cause caffeine).
So today I’m gonna share with you how to have a kick-butt tea party with friends 😉 Ladies night, what what. It’s a perfect thing to do on a weekday when you’re stumped and tired from work and want to do something relaxing.
I went to Target and got some Bigelow Tea to enjoy. I actually have a huge cupboard full of teas and I never can have enough haha so I was excited to get some extra going in. I know Meg totally knows what I’m talking about here.
So many choices… but I went for the green tea with lemon and the calming chamomile. I’ve been meaning to buy some nice relaxing blend and chamomile is beautifully relaxing – perfect for a perfectly relaxing tea party if you ask me!
So the first step is to get your tea ready, cause that’s obviously the main focus of any successful tea party.
Then light some candles. Can’t do a tea party without candles, yo!
They not only brighten up the room, but they also add that nice relaxing flair to any situation. They’re perfect.
Next up… activity of choice.
Wait, you mean drinking tea isn’t an activity?
But I need something else to get my mind off things, don’t you?I like to opt for a nice movie. I’m pretty bad at staying up to date with movies that are coming out cause I’m so busy all the time and my roommate was raving about this movie forever so I thought this would be a perfect option for this evening.
Get warm from the lovely tea (yeah, cause it’s sometimes warm sometimes cold in Chicago, oh this weather is such a rollercoaster ride)
About the movie?
It was okay. I don’t think it was as good as Meredith said it would be. Definitely did not live up to my expectations but it was different and interesting in a way. There was something about it that I was like ehh.. but I think maybe if I watch it again, maybe I’ll like it more.
Questions for you:
- What’s your favorite type of tea?
- Have you seen the movie “Now you see me”? What’d you think?
