Protein powder with a boost of collagen to keep that skin youthful {giveaway}

You already know how much I love protein powders. A lot. Anyway, I recently got to try another brand of protein powder which really caught my attention because this particular one contains collagen as well! I wasn’t very aware of collagen as a supplement until my mom recently started taking collagen supplements in water. I don’t remember what brand it was but it would turn to some berry flavored water kind of thing. It’s great for women to slow the aging process, she says. She’s not old, at 42, she looks like she’s in her early 30s, in my honest opinion. I’m glad she’s passing all of her awesome youthful knowledge and health tips to me 🙂

Yes, it’s true. I no longer drink my protein shakes. I eat them with a spoon because I like them of a soft serve consistency better. Above is the NeoCell Collagen Sport vanilla protein + banana soft serve topped with berries and Sally’s natural cereal. The vanilla flavor is nice and subtle, but still apparent. I enjoyed it and it made for a nice fluffy white protein soft serve.

NeoCell Collagen Sport is a protein powder which is 4 in 1: protein whey isolate, collagen peptides, L-glutamine and amino acids, and vitamins & minerals. The company’s tag words are “refuel, recover, regenerate, replenish.” Read more about the product here.

Some features of the powder:

  • 15 grams Pure Ion-Exchange Whey Protein Isolate
  • 15 grams Super Collagen™ Bioavailable Peptides
  • Rich in BCAAs
  • Good source of L-Glutamine
  • Enhanced with Exogenous Amino Acids
  • Multi-vitamin Fortification
  • Doctor Formulated
  • Gluten, Wheat, Sugar & Lactose Free

Each scoop is 120 calories, but bear in mind – these scoops are BIG! Check this out:

Huge. Anyway, I enjoyed putting this in cold coffee, shakes, or for protein pancakes. Collagen is great for pain relief after exercise, and also weight control and beautiful hair, skin and nails.

If you’re not into taking collagen with protein you can check out their other products as well. Neocell is called “the original collagen people” because the company was the first with hydrolyzed collagen in the US.  They also have collagen in a pomegranate liquid form and also capsules.  And the new Beauty Bursts will be in a chewable squares!  Apparently, however people like it, they have it! You can like NeoCell Collagen Sport on Facebook and follow on Twitter.

Would you like to try this product for yourself? If so, you’re in luck… you have the option to WIN a canister of french vanilla protein powder! Available to US and Canada residents. Void where prohibited.
