Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil {giveaway}

I’ve recently had the pleasure of trying out a new brand of coconut oil. I’ve been using coconut oil a lot more in my cooking lately since I’ve embraced the beauty and appeal of adding healthy fats to my diet.

“Affiliate link: If you order by clicking on any of my links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you.”

I love using it to grease a pan before making pancakes.

I also have added it to some of my baked goods

And even more recipes will come, I assure you.

Especially since I have this lovely quart of coconut oil to use :) I see delicious healthy fats in dessert form in my future…

    I spread it on a warm piece of gluten-free cinnamon raisin toast in the morning. It is delicious! I will never go back to butter!! I also like to put a little in my coffee for a different flavor.

        I mix equal parts of the oil, baking soda, and a few drops of mint extract. It will harden if cooled so we just run it under warm water and shake until ready. For now I store it in a squeezy bottle (I know, plastic–but haven’t found anything better yet). I can’t even tell you–you just have to try it for yourself for at least a week. Whiter teeth, longer lasting fresh taste and breath, and a clean I really can feel.

          Wow, awesome! Thanks for the detailed comment, I’ll make sure to try it out sometime soon :) I had no idea there were this many uses for coconut oil! It really is a wonderful product huh! :)

    Coconut oil is great for everything! The most vital for me and my son is a daily supplement as we have chronic/arthritic pain. I mix with peppermint oil, Vitamin E oil, and tea tree oil and use for a muscle rub, I cook with it, bake with it, put it in my coffee, make toothpaste, condition hair and skin–I haven’t been dissatisfied yet!

    I love coconut oil for lotion, and also for cooking/baking/raw desserts (like homemade chocolate!)
    We also “oil-pull” with it almost every morning, and it’s been great for our dental health.

    I just started trying coconut oil and there seems to be a lot of difference in quality between brands! Heard a lot about Tropical Traditions and would love to try it!

    I don’t know what I’d do without coconut oil… I eat a lot of (healthy) fats and I use at least 3 tbsp each day of just coconut oil.. Love the stuff! I recently started using coconut oil as a sunscreen which works wonders! I didn’t get a sunburn this summer and I just used the oil, nothing else.. love it! Happy WIAW to you :)
