I have been really bad with recording a whole day’s of eats for What I Ate Wednesdays and this week I am gonna have to miss it again. I don’t even know why, I keep forgetting to do it. Plus I haven’t really had anything too exciting to eat lately. You wouldn’t be surprised or enthralled by anything I would post anyway. Thankfully, just as I was thinking in class that I’ll have to miss out on another post, I came home to a surprise package! I wasn’t expecting anything so you can only imagine my excitement. Yes. It’s November. Holidays are coming…. this is exciting stuff!
Holidays really are a joyous time of the year. It’s only the second week of November but retail and online stores have been in the spirit for a few weeks now. While I definitely think they start too soon, now is a good time to start getting excited. I think it’s appropriate. I used to think that Christmas decorations and excitement should come after Thanksgiving but now I see why it shouldn’t.. it’s the MOST wonderful time of the year! It’s so happy and jolly and fun. I love it. It’s my favorite! That’s why I can see why people would want to prolong it. So it’s okay. But only the week before Thanksgiving… earlier than that is still too early.
One of my favorite companies I reviewed a while back, Food Should Taste Good, kept me in their thoughts and sent me a package! I loved them before but I love them even more now. How thoughtful! They included some fun things in the package to help me survive the Holiday season 🙂
And what do you know… Food Should Taste Good included the two favorite flavors of their chips in the package! How did they know? I guess they might have read the review I posted but wow, I was impressed.
Either most people have the same preference as me, or these flavors are holiday-ish (I could see that) or I’ll just feel special and think it’s meant to be.. yep, the third option sounds the best to me 😉
These adorable dried apples and bananas come at only 15 calories per 1/4 cup and have no added sugars! Just the fruit. Adorable and surely yummy… I will report back when I try them 🙂
How did they know I LOVE white tea!? I mean, I wrote enough good things about it. And lemongrass is one of my favorite scents.. so refreshing.. beautiful scent. I’m not familiar with the Teatulia brand but I’m all for trying new teas!
Then there’s this awesome chapstick — It’s funny, I’ve been meaning to get myself some new chapstick lately since it’s getting cold out.. and there ya go! They just knew. Those mind-readers.
Sprout chapstick with an all-natural cinnamon flavor/scent. I love that it only has a few ingredients and all of which I am familiar with – no junk or crazy scientific ingredients in this lip balm. The cinnamon scent isn’t very prevalent but it really gets the job done…
Lips so soft and moisturized 🙂 It’s a really good chapstick, I recommend it! First time trying it but I already love it.
Then there’s something the blog world loves…..
Opening it up… I wonder how many are inside? *excited*
FOUR! Four flavors of uber deliciousness by Larabar!
I have tried all of these bars except for the peanut butter cookie! It’s not an uber bar but that’s fine, they are all good. I’m looking forward to trying that flavor out for myself! Thanks Larabar!
There’s also something amazing in there that I cannot wait to try out… Who needs Reese’s when you can have a natural alternative? Justin’s peanut butter cups! I was very happy to see that these were 200 calories per 2 cups unlike the protein peanut butter cups I tried from Quest Cravings. So pumped to try these!
Last but not least.. gotta stay warm during the Holidays too, not just full. So I got these cute burgundy pattern tights which I tried on right away and I’m sitting in them as I’m tying this. They are cute and warm but not overwhelmingly so.
Thank you for making my day that much brighter and my Holiday season easier to survive! Gotta love thoughtful companies.
Cheers!
