The new year is fast approaching and I’m sure that brings many of us to ponder what new years resolutions to consider. Are you a new years resolutions type of girl? I used to be. I guess I still SORTA am… but my resolutions aren’t resolutions per se, they are actual goals that I want to achieve in the new year.

I go about it a bit differently. But anyway, one of the most common things people make resolutions for seems to be around their health. For me, it’s actually more of a business focus and presentation focus, BECAUSE I’ve been making health and wellness not a resolution but a lifestyle.

Over the past year, there have been some changes I’ve made that remained and became more ingrained in my daily life.

  • I made meditation a thing – I never did meditation before, except hypnosis but this year I really became more present and focused on having it become more frequent in my routine. So glad I did.
  • I lost the pressure to count calories or eat what I hate and cover up my cravings. I just do what I want but I am mindful. I follow a specific way of eating right now but it’s been easy and quite effortless and I’m enjoying it (high protein, very little sugar and no grains 5-6 days a week) and I’ve seen great results with it so far in terms of my mood, how my cravings are, and in general. Good stuff.

But for the other days? I definitely like to include bread. Or sometimes you just gotta have it.
