Hello everyone! Happy Monday! It is the last week of August, are you sad? I kind of am. This summer was kind of lame for me. Well, I mean, it wasn’t bad. The weather was amazing – I love hot weather like this. But I didn’t really do anything. I haven’t gone to the beach once. I haven’t gone boating. I haven’t gone to any music festivals. I did day parties maybe only 3 or 4 times. No BBQs. No vacations away from the city.
Wow, well I definitely feel even worse now haha, way to go Kammie. Well, I did my internship this summer so I stayed busy and then I work on the weekends so I didn’t have much time to do anything else. Plus I am still too self conscious about my body to expose it by going to the beach. Unfortunately. I did spend a lot of time this summer working out though and getting healthier. This is the one success I have had and I think it’s marvelous in itself. I did manage to lose for more weight although I am not at my goal yet but I have seen improvement in myself in that area. Truth be told, I don’t really even mind having such a chill summer. It was okay. It was relaxing. I actually like working. But it was my last summer before going out in the real world and before my last year of college so maybe I should have taken more advantage of that instead of getting my insecurities the best of me. Oh well. There’s always next year!

A marvelous book I’m about to start reading. Right as soon as I’m done with this guilty pleasure 😉 Unfortunately, Gone Girl hasn’t become available in my library yet so I won’t be able to participate in PBF’s book club this month :/ Next time.
