Traditional Zapiekanka or Toasted Baguette with Mushrooms and Cheese (Polish Street Food)
  1. Cut the baguette in half
  2. Spray a pan with cooking spray
  3. Wash mushrooms and slice them
  4. Pan fry mushrooms and onions with turmeric, red pepper, and black pepper until soft and cooked through
  5. Turn a toaster oven or conventional oven to preheat to 300F
  6. On each half of the baguette, put cooked mushroom and onion
  7. Sprinkle with freshly grated cheddar cheese, to your liking
  8. Toast until cheese is all nicely melted through, about 5 minutes
  9. Take out and enjoy warm. Especially good with ketchup
