I’ve had a rough week, motivation-wise. I’ve had some trouble staying on track and my motivation and self control has been waning. My self esteem has been taking a toll and if you’ve ever fallen off track for more than one day, you know how difficult it is to get back on. Becoming accepted as a FitFluential Ambassador has helped keep me accountable but I still needed more to get the right mindset in. It’s difficult to get in the zone after a few days of poor self control, lack of motivation in terms of eating good portions, and exercising. While even when I fall off the wagon, I eat pretty cleanly, it’s the amount I eat that’s the problem for me. After Labor Day, I needed to take some moments for myself to reflect and create a new workout schedule and get my mindset properly fueled and motivated for the days to come. Listening to chill music is a crucial step for me to get in the mindset actually. I don’t know what it is about it, but it certainly helps me get inspired to be better.
