Are you ready to get your #SauceOn with some Habanero?
Ohh.. it’s getting saucy up in hereee….
Okay, okay. I’m done with the puns. But this hot sauce is pretty much awesomesauce. Okay, no more. Haha. Thanks to #CollectiveBias I got to stock up on some new hot sauces recently and I love it because I love love love spicy food!
It’s funny – I used to hate spicy food. I was so sensitive to it. Like the Taco Bell mild sauce was TOO spicy for me. Ridiculous, I know. Then I learned that spicy food is good for you, and that’s besically how that happens for me, since then I started loving spicy food.
Thank goodness. I think food is the best when it has a nice spiciness or kick to it, otherwise it’s just so… boring. Bland. Meh. *falls asleep*
This is the way to keep things alive! Arrriba!
Especially with this new El Yucateco Black Label Reserve hot sauce that I got at Walmart (among other flavors). How fancy does that sound? Pretty fancy and intense. It’s black hot sauce and it’s supposed to be intense… So naturally I was excited to try it out.
Now, despite the fact that I enjoy spicy food, I am not crazy adventurous and I wouldn’t ever eat like a hot pepper or anything (well, except that one time) so I didn’t wanna overdo it on the sauce. I added just a little while cooking the veggies to add some flavor. I figured, if it’s not enough, I can always add more on top once the scrambled eggs are all done.
Oh yeah, I wanted to create a breakfast item because I am pretty much obsessed with breakfast (duh, look at this) so I felt it was a natural idea for me right now. But if you’d rather create something else with this hot sauce, you can check out the recipes they also have on their website here and here.
Mmmmm melty cheese, who can resist?
[amd-zlrecipe-recipe:95]Hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
