Hey guys! It’s Wednesday again and I finally decided to use my dSLR fully to capture all of my day’s eats. I usually use my iPhone or iPad because the eats take place outside the home but this time they were all at home, so why not use my baby Nikon? Exactly!
Meal: Egg whites with onion, topped with spicy chunky guacamole and fire roasted salsa. Served on a spinach tortilla.
Meal: Salad with a salmon burger, nooch, guac, and salsa. (yes, I am loving guac lately) I’m eating more fats but yet I’ve lost weight! Love it!
Fitness: Jog outside! It was awesome; I really need to do those more often, taking advantage of the beautiful weather.. so worth it.It was my first time using RunKeeper app and I loved it! Great app to use for running outdoors.
Meal: Nonfat plain Lifeway kefir mixed with chocolate protein powder (the last scoop! 🙁 sadness!), coconut flour, Special Dark cocoa (YES, I finally bought it again! In love!) topped with Erewhon Rice Twice cereal and TJ’s very cherry blend. Mmmmm. Like dessert. But protein packed <3
Snack: chili lime cashews from TJ’s and some pistachios.
I have to say it was a perfect day. While the protein intake wasn’t as high as I aim for it to be (it’s hard without protein powder, the package needs to come here now! sigh); I was still under my calorie limit with a great balance of fats, carbs, and protein. Still keeping protein under 50% 🙂 It’s working out wonderfully for me so far! I couldn’t be happier.
